I bought this as a Christmas present for the kids. I decided to set it up a couple days in advance to test it out. I am glad that I did. It is junk. It comes with a European 110-240v wall transformer, which you must "adapt" to USA plug typical with a clunky adapter that is included. The most basic issue is that there is no way to adjust the microphone vocals loud sufficient that they can be heard over the audio track. In order to hear your microphone at all, even with the microphone achieve adjusted to "max", you have to adjust the master audio volume to a deafening volume. I'm now scrambling for a replacement the week before Christmas. Don't waste your time with this unit. They place effort into the physical style, but ignored the functional design. It looks amazing. It just does not work. I am packing it back up and returning it.

This was my daughters most significant Christmas gift this year. What a enormous disappointment. The audio is very poor. I tried writing and explaining the problem to Emerson. They told me they were sending out new mics. I got one mic currently and it is just as bad as the original ones. I do not think the mics are the difficulty it is the unit itself. You cannot hear oneself sing over the cd no matter what you do. I would not advise this product to any individual.
