Straight out of the box, the monitor did not function. CD player skips, microphone comes and goes. Poor item. Was not content with this purchase at all

Purchased it for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. Soon after only 1 week the microphone doesn't perform. I suspect the fault is in the microphone/chord connection to the microphone. My Daugher loved it until it broke.

Received the new a single in only a couple days. Amazing customer service AMZN! It was the microphone that had broken. If you obtain this I recommend adding some electrical tape among the chord and the base of the microphone. Wrap it around the location where the chord comes out of the mic. This connection seemed pretty flimsy and I suspect this is exactly where the difficulty occured. For a item geared towards youngsters this will need to have been a significantly more robust connection/design. My daughter nonetheless likes it and it seemed the ideal bang for the buck out of the ones I saw advertised and on AMZN.

The CD player stopped operating on the second one particular following only 2 weeks. Funny thing is the microphone still worked on this a single. Thanks AMAZN for taking it back. I will order a totally different brand. This is clearly poor high-quality manufacturing.
